Itinerary:
Day 1 — flight arrival and accommodation – program to be specified later
Day 2 — Sofia → Rila → Bansko (~180 km)

Sofia city tour (short) before departure: Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, old Serdica ruins.

Scenic ride to Rila Monastery (UNESCO).

Optional detour into Seven Rila Lakes (short hike/cable car – spectacular alpine views).

Evening in Bansko, explore the old town with its stone houses.
Day 3 — Bansko → Rozhen → Melnik → Strumica (~190 km)

Stop at Rozhen Monastery, hidden in the Pirin foothills.

Visit Melnik, the wine capital of Bulgaria, with its sandstone pyramids.

Optional winery tour and tasting (Villa Melnik).

Cross into North Macedonia.

Quick ride to Smolare and Kolesino Waterfalls, scenic picnic spots.

Overnight in Strumica.
Day 4 — Strumica → Tikveš → Prespa → Ohrid (~230 km)

Depart via fertile plains to Tikveš Wine Region — Macedonia’s Napa Valley.

Detour to Kokino Megalithic Observatory (ancient astronomical site with views).

Cross Galičica National Park — ride the panoramic road with breathtaking views of Lake Prespa and Lake Ohrid.

Arrival in Ohrid — UNESCO old town, fortress of Samuel, lake promenade. Evening boat ride optional.
Day 5 — Ohrid → Elbasan → Durrës (~200 km)

Morning ride along the lake shore: Bay of Bones Museum (reconstructed prehistoric settlement).

Visit St. Naum Monastery, set above springs feeding the lake.

Cross into Albania → Elbasan Castle stop.

Optional detour to Lake Bovilla near Tirana (turquoise waters, photo viewpoint).

Continue to Durrës — explore Roman amphitheater and sunset by the Adriatic.
Day 6 — Durrës → Krujë → Shkodër → Bay of Kotor (~230 km)

Morning stop at Krujë Castle and old bazaar (Skanderbeg’s stronghold).

Scenic ride north → Lake Shkodër National Park, Rozafa Fortress.

Detour possibility: Theth Valley or Komani Lake (short ferry ride into fjord-like canyon).

Cross into Montenegro, enter the Bay of Kotor.

Evening in Kotor or Perast.
Day 7 — Bay of Kotor → Lovćen NP → Trebinje → Mostar (~210 km)

Serpentine climb into Lovćen National Park — famous hairpins and viewpoint over all of Montenegro.

Visit Njegoš Mausoleum at the summit.

Detour possible: Durmitor National Park (UNESCO, Tara Canyon – deepest canyon in Europe).

Back south → Trebinje (wine cellars, Ottoman bridges).

Evening arrival in Mostar — Stari Most, bazaar, Ottoman houses.
Day 8 — Mostar → Kravica → Počitelj → Sarajevo (~200 km)

Morning swim or stop at Kravica Waterfalls.

Visit Blagaj Tekke, a 600-year-old dervish monastery at the Buna river spring.

Climb Počitelj Fortress village for panoramic views.

Scenic ride into the mountains → Sarajevo.

Evening walking tour of Baščaršija bazaar, cable car to Trebević Mountain viewpoint.
Day 9 — Sarajevo → Višegrad → Niš (~250 km)

Ride through eastern Bosnia → Višegrad (Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge – UNESCO, Andrićgrad).

Scenic ride along the Drina Canyon.

Enter Serbia. Optional detour to Rtanj Mountain or Devil’s Town rock formations (UNESCO nominee).

Arrive in Niš — see Niš Fortress, Skull Tower, Mediana Roman site.
Day 10 — Niš → Pirot → Vitosha → Sofia (~200 km)

Ride via Sićevo Gorge, a dramatic canyon near Niš.

Continue through Pirot, famous for handmade rugs and cheese.

Cross back to Bulgaria.

Scenic finish past Vitosha Mountain overlooking Sofia.

Return to Sofia for closing dinner and celebrations.

The route, starting point, and end point, may still be adjusted depending on the availability of direct flights from the locations where most participants will be joining the trip.


The price does not include:
- catering, excluding breakfast (roughly €500 / £430 per stay)
- deductible for damage to a rented motorcycle – chargeable if the insurance event occurs (€150 / £130)
- visa (when necessary based on your nationality)
